Polar Ware Health Care Products Use and Cleaning Instructions
NOTICE: Polar Ware Health Care Products are NOT sterilized. All items must be washed before use. The user must determine appropriate cleaning requirements and methods BEFORE use of the products.
Polar Ware Stainless Steel Polar Ware
Polar Ware Stainless Steel products can be safely subjected to temperatures up to 450° F.
Wash Stainless Steel products with non-chlorinated cleaning products approved for use with Stainless
Steel, rinse and dry thoroughly.
To remove debris, use 3M type fiber scrub pads. Do not use steel wool or other metal scrub pads.
Polar Ware Reusable Plastic Products
Polar Ware reusable plastic products can be safely subjected to temperatures up to 275° F. Avoid stacking heavier products on lighter products to prevent distortion.
Standard cleaning products such as peroxide or bleach solutions should not affect these products.
Washer systems should not harm these products. If peroxide or bleach is used, over time there may be some crazing of the material, affecting the clarity, but should not affect the integrity of the part. Parts should be rinsed thoroughly after exposure to bleach or other cleaning solutions.
Single Patient/Disposable Plastic Products
Single Patient/Disposable plastic products are not designed to undergo standard autoclave sterilization methods.
Reusable Polar Ware Products
Reusable Polar Ware products are compatible with steam autoclave, sterilization, and EtO processes.
Follow the manufacturer's equipment instructions when subjecting products to any of these processes.
